Lenna Ruth Wright of Menifee, California departed this life at the age of seventy on December 7th, 2023. Lenna was born on November 24th, 1953, to John Maurice and Enola Clinkenbeard in Lebanon, Missouri. Following her graduation from high school Lenna met and married Ron Wright. Ron and Lenna went on to have six children together. Four sons and two daughters.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, and one son, John Wesley Wright. Lenna is survived by Ron Wright of Menifee, California and her five children, Dallas Neal Wright of Menifee, California, Cory Marshall Wright of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Leah Lynn Aaron, and her husband Nicholas, of Oceanside, California, Joseph Collin Wright of Oceanside, California, and Erin Adele Wright of Oceanside, California. Lenna is also survived by her six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Lenna grew up on the family farm outside of Lebanon, Missouri where her love for working outdoors began. The family eventually moved to a house in town and remained there throughout her youth. She graduated from Lebanon High in 1971 and soon after met Ron Wright. The couple married in 1972 and enjoyed more than thirty years together while raising their children. In 1991, Ron and Lenna made a bold decision to move the family to Vista, California. Lenna would remain in Vista until 2018 when she would move to Menifee and accomplish the goal of owning her own home.

Over the years Lenna was a strong, dedicated homemaker and mother while also maintaining various jobs to help add income to the household. After the passing of her son John Wesley Wright in 1998, Lenna left the workforce and returned to college to complete the degree she had always hoped to receive. In 2004 she was able to graduate with an associate degree in paralegal studies.

Following her graduation, Lenna would go on to receive a position she was immensely proud of at the congressional office of Congressman Darrell Issa in Vista, California. She would remain with the congressional office in different capacities until her retirement.

From an early age Lenna’s belief in the Lord was the compass of her life. Her unwavering faith was something she was not afraid to share and shone bright, even in the very last days of her life. Lenna’s love for the Lord came through in every relationship she had, but especially in her role as a mother. There were several churches Lenna became a member of as the family moved from Missouri to California, but she eventually found her Christian home at North Coast Calvary - Carlsbad.Lenna loved to laugh and she loved to dance. If there was good music playing, you can be sure she was moving to it! She was also an amazing free-hand artist and would often make extra money in her youth replicating portraits. She had a keen eye for design and would constantly change her home to suit her innovative ideas.

Lenna was a loving and nurturing wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and surrogate mother to many. She was also a steadfast and faithful friend to the connections she made in the church and her workplace. She will be so deeply missed. We all take comfort in the memories we have and knowing she is exactly where she has always wanted to be. Dancing and laughing with the Lord.
