Lela Rosella Deane, 98, of Lee’s Summit, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020, in the John Knox Care Center in Lee’s Summit.
She was born April 19, 1922, to Harley and Loease (Dryer) Weeks.
On Nov. 26, 1939, she married Carl Brady Deane.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her grandparents, Frank and Martha Dyer and one great-grandchild.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Raymond Deane and wife Judie, and Carl Richard Deane and wife Debbie; one daughter, Deborah Lynne Roberts; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Lela Rosella Deane will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, in the Mission Ridge Cemetery in Urbana with the Rev. Loren Dryer officiating, under the direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the John Knox Care Center in Lee’s Summit.
