Lebanon wins at home against Republic

Posted
It was a packed house on Thursday night as the Lebanon High School wrestling program took on the Republic Tigers. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams were victorious on the night, with the girls only having three wrestlers have to participate and winning 18-0. The boys’ team won 65-7 against a solid Republic team. The girls’ entered the night as the No. 1 ranked team in Missouri for girls’ wrestling and proved their dominance as Adeline Cottongim won her match via pin to put LHS up 6-0 early. Sophomore Jasmine Alley followed up her match by starting down 3-0, but quickly got a reversal and takedown and eventually pinned her opponent to go up 12-0. For more on this story see Saturday's LCR.
