Lebanon uses big fourth quarter to beat Marshfield

Posted

Things looked bleak for the Lebanon High School boys’ basketball team entering the fourth quarter on Tuesday night.

The Yellowjackets (2-0 overall) entered the fourth quarter trailing the Marshfield Blue Jays (3-2 overall) on the road by a score of 47-38.

Most teams would’ve been content with taking a frustrating loss and moving on. Still, Lebanon battled through the adversity and got timely stops to cut the deficit to six points (50-44) with three minutes left in the contest after an and-one make from senior Austin Hendrix.

Marshfield scored just five points in the final quarter as the ‘Jackets forced key turnovers to crawl back into the game.
