In two of their biggest meets during the entire season last week, the Lebanon boys’ and girls’ track and field team competed well, according to head coach Shane Rebmann.
The Girls Night Out meet was held last Thursday in Springfield, with over 30 local teams competing at the event.
The girls had medalists in multiple events.
“If you medal at this event, then you are legit,” Rebmann said. “I thought the girls performed well, and we were able to have some solid times, throws, and jumps on the day.”
Junior Jocee Pettyjohn medaled with a fifth-place performance in the 300m hurdles, while Mariah Mebruer took third in the high jump with a mark of 1.6m.
