Lebanon tennis falls to Osage on senior night

The ‘Jackets were able to seniors Easton Cromer, Chance Arthur, Devin Blackburn, Jacob Slavens, Blain Mizer, and managers Hannah Henson and Abbey Twenter on Tuesday night. Lebanon (5-12 overall) fell to the Osage Indians 9-0, but Crowell was proud of the way the team played. “It was a great night to recognize a fantastic group of seniors,” said Crowell. “They always come ready to play and they play with a lot of class. They are all going to be very successful in life and they have been fantastic role models for our younger players and they are great Yellowjackets.” Lebanon fell in all three doubles matches 8-5 with Cromer/Ethan Fisher, Dathon Durbin/Hayden Starnes, and Case Warson/Arthur all falling to their respective opponents. Cromer lost a close match at No. 1 singles to mark Pankiv, and Warson lost a match 8-5 at No. 5 singles to Christopher Boyd. JV singles winners were Kaden Roberts (7-5), Blain Mizer (6-1), Austin Garrison (6-0), Jacob Slavens (6-3), and Ben Nelson (6-1). JV doubles winners included Hicks/Massey (6-2), Woodcock/Roberts (6-4), and Owen/Garrison (6-3).
