They don’t always get as much credit as they deserve, but the entire Lebanon offensive line was outstanding on Homecoming, as the Yellowjackets beat the Waynesville Tigers 55-20.

Lebanon (2-2 overall) was coming off two straight losses before Friday’s game, and they looked like a new team with most of their starters back in the lineup, including junior quarterback Peyton Mitchell who missed the last two and a half weeks with a shoulder injury.

The Yellowjackets finished the game with more than 475 yards of rushing and had 40 yards of passing on the night.

“We were completely dominant upfront,” head coach Will Christian said. “It was a performance highlighted by the senior guys upfront in Kael Ruble, Garrett Childers, Hunter Honey at tight end and Dalton Wagner were fantastic all night long.

“We got tremendous play from Tristan Wilson and Caden Brown. Those guys got after it, and I am super proud of them as always.”

Christian praised the entire team for their performance after his 100th career win at Lebanon in his 16th year coaching.
