Lebanon now has a warming center

Posted
Lebanon now has a warming center for people who need a place to stay when temperatures drop below freezing. The center will be open Nov. 1 to March 31 when temperatures are forecasted at 32 degrees or below, according to the National Weather Service. Amber Meredith of the Free Store Ministry was among those in the community who had been working to bring a warming center to Lebanon. She said the issue became a topic of local discussion after news reports came out about the need for a local warming center. For more on this story see Saturday's LCR.
