Rebecca Rupard has been named the new tourism director for the City of Lebanon.
Rupard, who comes to Lebanon from the Ozarks Tri-County Lodging Association, began her tenure with the city on Monday.
According to Michael Schumacher, City Administrator, Rupard’s experience stood out and made her selection an easy choice.
Rupard served as the TCLA public relations manager for more than 17 years before coming to Lebanon. In addition to her job duties, she has been involved with numerous organizations and events, including the Special Olympics Missouri Polar Plunge, Lake of the Ozarks Water Safety Council, Lake of the Ozarks Midwest Coast Association, the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, and the Lake of the Ozarks Canadian-American Police-Fire Games.
