For the sixth year in a row, SmartAsset, a New York-based financial technology company, has named Lebanon as one of the top 10 places in Missouri to retire.
The company rated Lebanon as the sixth best place in Missouri to retire based on multiple factors, including the tax rate, the number of doctors’ offices per 1,000 people, recreation centers per 1,000 people and percentage of seniors in the population.
The company has been releasing the studies since 2015. For the first three years of the study, Lebanon was sitting at fifth in the state.
