A Lebanon man was killed in a single-vehicle accident at 9:31 p.m. Friday on Missouri 32, five miles west of Lebanon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Travis G. Nelson, 38, of Lebanon, the driver of a westbound 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer lost control of the vehicle, traveled off the north side of the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned.
Nelson was pronounced dead at the scene by Laclede County Coroner Steve Murrell.
A passenger in the vehicle, Susan M. Nelson, 38, sought her own treatment. The Highway Patrol described her injuries as serious.
Travis G. Nelson was reportedly not wearing a seat belt, while it is undetermined if Susan Nelson was wearing a seat belt.
