The Missouri Department of Corrections reported June 12 that Shane Norman, 33, of Lebanon died in the Potosi Correctional Center at Mineral Point sometime Tuesday morning.
A spokesperson for the Missouri Department of Corrections said it does not release the cause of death for its inmates.
Norman was sentenced to 30 years in prison after being arrested in March of 2021 for the murder and dismemberment of Nathan Young, the owner of a local welding shop and Norman’s employer.
