Lebanon, Laclede County, begin 175th anniversary celebration

Lebanon and Laclede County’s 175th anniversary celebration kicked off Saturday with a special cake-cutting event at Mel’s on Madison. A Missouri Senate resolution observing the anniversary was presented and members of the Laclede County Museum and Historical Society helped serve cake. A special guest in attendance was “Centennial Baby” John Clinkenbeard, who was the first baby born after the county and city’s 100th anniversary. For more on this story, see Wednesday's LCR.
