The Lebanon Yellowjackets lost to the Camdenton Lakers at home on Friday 56-71 in their first face off of the basketball season.
The Yellowjackets entered the game with a record of 1-3 and the Lakers one of 3-1. Lebanon High School’s Boswell Auditorium was packed with fans of both teams as the game began, and Lebanon’s crowd signs were matched with Camdenton’s raid banner.
The Lakers took charge of the court early on with their possession following tipoff. Missed shots from ‘Jackets led to an increased Laker lead, but the shooting from Lebanon’s athletes like Noah Boggs brought its score up to a little less than half that of the Lakers’ by the end of the period.
