The Laclede County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery and stabbing that occurred Monday afternoon.
A 33-year-old woman received stab wounds to the arm and leg. The injuries were not life-threatening, according to Sheriff David Millsap.
The woman was taken to the hospital but Millsap did not know if she was held there overnight.
According to the sheriff, the incident occurred at about 4 p.m. Monday in the 4,000 block of East Highway 32. The victim told sheriff’s deputies she came home with her 5-year-old son and found a man and woman she did not know in her house.
