Due to a decline in advertising and insert revenue and the fact that many single copy sales locations are closed, the Laclede County Record will suspend publication of the Saturday newspaper and will begin publishing one day per week only beginning Wednesday, April 8.
“We are saddened to make this announcement,” said Publisher Beth Chism. “However, in addition to the Wednesday delivery our new website is available free to the public and our e-edition is also free by simply going to our website. We will continue to offer our news digitally to the community at no cost during this time.
