Lawrence Joseph (Larry) Manion, 54, of the state of Colorado, formerly of Lebanon, died peacefully Tuesday, May 3, 2022, in Temple, Texas, after a lengthy illness.

He was born May 25, 1967, at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas, to Thomas Joseph Manion Jr. and Consuelo Arredondo.

Larry was raised in the Lebanon area, graduating in 1985. He then left to pursue his love of the construction trade. He was currently working for Hamilton Builders in Springfield, Mo.

He is survived by a daughter, Kristen Manion and grandson, Aydan of Hutchinson, Minn.; two sisters, Alice Jones and her husband Curtis of Lebanon, and Barbara Clemens and her husband Paul of Fair Grove; a niece, Kimberly Jones and her sons Trayton Jones, and Benjamin Mason of Lebanon, and nephew Clinton Jones and wife Sandy of St. Louis, Mo. and their children Charlotte and Thomas; also his work associates who came to be as close as family members.

A memorial service for Larry Manion will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Union Grove Cemetery in Fair Grove, Mo. followed by a light meal and sharing of memories.
