Late run pushes Lebanon past Camdenton

Posted
A 15-2 run in the last five minutes propelled the Lebanon High School girls’ basketball team past arch-rival Camdenton on Monday night at Camdenton High School. After a three-pointer from Camdenton’s Elle Turner, the Lakers had just taken their second lead of the contest with 5:40 remaining. While it would’ve been easy for the Lady ‘Jackets to get down, they responded in the biggest way as seniors Kori Cromer and Jocee Pettyjohn scored 19 combined points to push Lebanon (15-5 overall, 3-1 Ozark Conference) over the top, 62-48. Cromer played the fourth quarter with four personal fouls and had just two points entering the final stretch, while Pettyjohn had just three points from a make earlier in the game.
