Larry Shane Rose, 73, of Bolivar, was born Oct. 1, 1951, in Kansas City to Elmer Edwin and Mary Alma (Grider) Rose and died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025, in Bolivar.
He is survived by his wife Betsy; two daughters, Katie Rose (Christopher) of Richland and Mary Smither (Greyson) of Bolivar; one sister, Marla Baldwin (Joe) of Kansas City; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Matt Brady officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery at Richland with military honors by the United States Navy. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. until service, also on Wednesday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
