Larry Roger McDowell, 69, of Hartville, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023, in Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
He is survived by three siblings, Suzi “Sister’’ Baxter of Hartville; James McDowell (Evalee) of Versailles, Ill. and Ross McDowell (Terry) of the state of Illinois; nieces, Danielle Baxter and Kathryn Baxter of the state of Oregon; Jennifer Baxter of Hannibal, and Amy McDowell of Vermont, Ill.; Tim McDowell of the state of Wyoming, and Steve McDowell of the state of Georgia; four great nephews, five great-nieces; special friends, Teresa and Terry Wynn and LaDonna Kennedy; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Larry Roger McDowell will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, in the First Free Will Baptist Church in Hartville. Burial will be in the Steele Memorial Cemetery at Hartville, under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon Thursday in the First Free Will Baptist Church of Hartville.
