Larry David Nutter, 60, of Fair Grove, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2020, in Springfield.
He was born Aug. 17, 1960, in Loring Air Force Base, Limestone, Maine, to Larry Don Nutter and Mary Anne Lewis Nutter.
David was preceded in death by a grandson.
As a military dependent, he lived in various states as well as Japan. He graduated from high school in Mascoutah, Ill. in 1978 and then entered the United States Army. David enjoyed working on cars, going to the river, and especially spending time with his family. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always quick to have a laugh and a smile.
He is survived by his father, Larry Don Nutter and his wife Gerry; his mother, Mary Anne Nutter; sisters, Nancy White and her husband Robert, Connie Barrowe and her husband Fernand; his children, Meredith Cornwell, Melissa Cottrill and her husband Tony, Simon Nutter and Brittany and Mallory Nutter and Brandon; nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
