The lady ‘Jackets volleyball teams all three fell to Kickapoo Sept. 19 at home.
Kickapoo’s varsity team was second in the state last year and remains a very competitive team this year with a 17-4 record coming into the match Tuesday.
The ‘Jackets battled but lost in three sets, 22-25, 13-25, 16-25.
“I'm not sure that our set scores necessarily painted a true picture of our performance against Kickapoo. Kickapoo had us outsized at every position along the net, and carrying a roster of 11 seniors also brings in a lot of experience and mental toughness on their end,” coach Jenny Collins said.
