The Lebanon High School girls’ basketball team recently started their summer workouts on June 1, but the Lady ‘Jackets look like a team ready to compete for an Ozark Conference title in 2021-22. On Monday, the team competed at the Nixa Shootout, playing three games against Republic, Cameron, and Strafford. Lebanon went 2-1, with their only loss coming to the Lady Indians of Strafford. In their first matchup, LHS defeated Republic by a score of 48-31. Lebanon jumped out to an early 21-4 lead after senior post player Destiny Zimdars scored four out of the first five baskets, including a three-point make. For more on this story see Wednesday's LCR.
