It might seem like a broken record at this point. Still, the Lebanon High School girls’ wrestling team has continued to run through their competition and captured a fifth straight district championship on Saturday afternoon at Ozark High School.
For LHS, they have won a district championship in all five years that girls’ wrestling has been a sponsored sport by the Missouri State High School Activities Association. The 2022-23 season is the first year it has been split into two classes, giving the Lady ‘Jackets their first Class 2 District 3 title.
During the tournament, Lebanon won first place with 224 team points scored, while Nixa was in second with 194 team points, and Belton rounded out the top three with 156 points.
