Lady ‘Jackets capture Morrisville consolation championship

Posted

It was a long weekend on the diamond for the Lebanon High School softball team over the weekend.

Opening up the year at the Morrisville tournament, the Lady ‘Jackets (3-1 overall) won the consolation bracket.

In the team's opening game, LHS fell 8-6 to eventual runner-up Carthage. Lebanon got on the board early on an RBI single from Taylor Rodden, but four combined runs from the Tigers in the second and third inning put the ‘Jackets in comeback mode.

Lebanon finished the game with 15 hits, while the Tigers had nine, but three errors proved to be costly on the field.
