Lady ‘Jackets beat Central in tight game

The Lebanon High School girls’ soccer team picked up a much-needed win over the Central Bulldogs at home on Thursday, 3-2. Earlier in the season, the Lady ‘Jackets fell in penalty kicks to the talented Lady Bulldogs team, and head coach Matt Jernigan said this game meant a lot for his team. “The Central game was a great game for our mentality,” he mentioned. “We had lost to them in penalty kicks in the Parkview tournament, and it’s always nice to beat a team that beat you. Also, we have had several tight games lately that we weren’t able to pull out, so to get that one-goal win was nice. For more on this story see Saturday's LCR.
