Kyle Raymond Smith, 35, of Camdenton, formerly of Eldridge, died Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in Camdenton.

He was born Oct. 15, 1987, in Sturgis, Mich. to Kenneth Wayne Smith and Sherrie Lynn Reid.

Those preceding him in death include his younger brother, Jake and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Kyle was hard working, as long as his health allowed. He was an owner-operator and over the road truck driver. His specialty was hauling livestock. He enjoyed cutting wood and sharing it with those who needed it. Kyle was an animal lover and had many fun memories training and riding his standard donkey, Liberty. He loved to fish and drive his farm and never missed an opportunity to tinker on the tractor.

He was saved at a young age and faithfully served Jesus Christ his entire life. He was a God called minister and preached at many area churches as an evangelist of the gospel of Christ.

Kyle is survived by his mother, Sherrie Reid of Eldon; his father, Ken Smith and his wife Deanna of Eldridge; one brother, Jeff Holtz and his wife Jennifer of Michigan; two sisters, Kim Carter of Montreal and Emily Wood and her husband Jason of Camdenton; two step-sisters, Melissa and Danielle Derenbecher; eleven nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, other relatives and countless friends.

Funeral services for Kyle Raymond Smith will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Pastor Mike Allen officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Horeb Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. until service time also on Saturday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Memorials have been suggested to the family to help with expenses.
