Kevin Dewayne Jemes, 56, of Grovespring, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, in Grovespring.

He was born Feb. 20, 1965, in Lebanon, Mo. to Clinton and Venita Bennett Jemes.

Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents and one niece, Kelly Jemes.

He worked for several years as a mechanic at Fort Leonard Wood. He enjoyed spending time at the beach, driving Corvettes, and was remodeling his home in Grovespring. Kevin especially loved his granddaughter, Clara Jean.

Kevin made a profession of faith in Christ at a young age and at the time of his passing, had been attending Family Church in Lebanon.

Survivors include his son, William Jemes and his wife Kaylee of Grovespring; his daughter, Mira Jemes of Houston,Miss.; one granddaughter, Clara Jean Jemes; his parents, Clinton and Venita Jemes of Grovespring; one brother, Kenneth Jemes and his wife Debbie of Grovespring; two nieces Jessica Palmer and her husband Jeff and their children, Sarah and Mason Palmer of Hartville; and Tracy Dixon and her husband Dustin and their children, Rylee, Brayden and Kinsley Dixon of Mansfield; special friend, Keyanne Quick of Lebanon; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Kevin Dewayne Jemes will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, at Mt. Zion Cuba Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cuba Cemetery under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.

Visitation for Kevin will begin at 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Monday also at Mt. Zion Cuba Church.
