Kaylene Ann (Willhite) Cardwell-Childress, 56, of Rogersville, died Friday, May 20, 2022, in Springfield.
She was born April 17, 1966, in Houston, Mo. to William Dearl Willhite and Norma Faye (Bennett) Willhite.
Kaylene was preceded in death by a daughter, Britoni Cardwell; her husband Randy Childress; her father, Dearl Willhite; a brother, Steve Willhite, and a brother-in-law, Edwin Kincheloe.
She is survived by two sons, Derek Cardwell and his wife Kristina of Nixa, and Delaine Cardwell and his wife Megan of Hartville; her mother, Norma Willhite of Hartville; one sister, Sondra Kincheloe-Bennett and her husband Dorisel of Lebanon; one brother, Bobby Willhite and his wife Melissa of Hartville; a sister-in-law, Dyann Willhite of Hartville; six grandchildren, Wyatt, Elodie, Landon, Bentley, Madison, and Jaxon, and many other friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mountain Grove. Burial was in New Home Cemetery in Wright County.
