Kay Dean Burks, 75, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020, in Lebanon.

Burks was born on Dec. 3, 1945 in Dove to Mark and Mary Martin Williams.

On June 16, 1962, she was married to Ivan Douglas Burks.

Kay is preceded in death by her parens and her husband.

She graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1963. She owned and operated a small convenience store on Hwy 64, with her husband. She also worked at H.D. Lee until it closed. She was a devoted homemaker, always putting the needs of her family first. She loved her pets, working on puzzles and traveling. However, time spent and memories made with her family, is what she treasured most.

Kay is survived by two sons, Doug Burks and his wife Robin of Blue Springs and Jason Burks and his wife Breanna of Lebanon; one daughter, Deanna Dampier and her husband Brian of Lebanon; one brother, Dale Williams and his wife April of Moberly; one sister, Fay Stevens and her husband Tom of Garrison; special friend Robert Long, also of Lebanon; eleven grandchildren, Kristina and her husband Darrin, Daniel and his wife Alison, Matthew and his wife Rachel, Kayla and her husband Javan, Dylan, Jarrod, Thomas, Zoe, Braiden, Caiden and Charlotte; eleven great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services for Kay Dean Burks will be held at a later date at Lebanon Cemetery with Javan Shrode officiating. At her request, her body is to be cremated under direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.

There is no scheduled visitation.
