Karen Ann Ames, 83, of Buffalo, was born Sept. 17, 1947, in Shenandoah, Iowa to James and Madge Carl and died Oct. 16, 2025.
She is survived by a daughter, Kelly Healey; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo.
