The Atchison, Kan. Police Department reported they have identified the body recovered from the Missouri River on Sunday as that of a 53-year-old former Lebanon man.
Donald R. Spradling, of St. Joseph, had been a resident there for the past two years, according to a release from Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson. Spradling has recently been living at a campsite along the Missouri River where he was frequently seen fishing, officials said.
