Junior Dale McGuire, 66, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, in Lebanon.
He was born Nov. 5, 1955, in Laclede County, Mo. to Delmar and Annie Jennings McGuire.
On Jan. 4, 1976, he married Pam Burns.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donald and Wayne McGuire; his sister, Cloveta Johnson, and brother-in-law, Monty West.
Junior owned and operated McGuire & Son Body Shop with his son Cody for five years. He was also a highly skilled concrete worker around the Lebanon, Springfield and Lake of the Ozarks area for many years. Although he worked hard to provide for his family, he found time to enjoy water skiing, car races, tractor pulls, playing his guitar, and visiting with friends. However, his family was of most importance to him and he enjoyed the time spent with each of them.
He is survived by his wife Pam; his son, Cody McGuire of Lebanon; his sister, Jessica West of Lebanon; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tammy and Bob Volner of Springfield; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Junior Dale McGuire will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Mike Allen officiating, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
