Joyce Annetta Mathews, 77, Lebanon, Missouri was born November 19, 1946, to Lloyd Ezekial and Cora Mattie (Cantrell) Letterman in Niangua, Missouri. Joyce departed this life on February 25, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Cora Letterman; infant brother, Jerold Letterman, and brother, James George Letterman.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband, John, of the home; three daughters, Joni Pawlikowski and husband Jim, Janette Green and husband, Stanley, Jolene Phelps and husband Doug; eight grandchildren, Jordan Mathews (Deveri), Ashleigh Evans (Heath), Jamie Pawlikowski (Laura), Brandon Phelps (Debbie), Colton Green (Katie), Zach Phelps, Hannah Joy Dodd (Tanner) and Aspen Phelps; nine great grandchildren, Lucas Pawlikowski, Kaylynn Evans, Dylan Pawlikowski, Elsie Mathews, Avalon Mathews, Alair Green, John Benton Mathews, Corbin Green, and Mark Mathews; brother, Jerry Letterman (Valerie); sisters, Janet Letterman, Jackie Cheek (Don), and Jeannie Letterman; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services for Joyce Annetta Mathews will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 17765 Highway 32, Lebanon, Missouri 65536. Burial will follow the service at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 6 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Day Funeral Home, Marshfield, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or ADRA (Adventist Development Relief Agency).
