JOSEPH "JOEY" MCGUIRE

Joseph “Joey’’ Dean McGuire, 58, of Lebanon, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2023.

He was born July 7, 1964, in Lebanon, Mo. to James McGuire and Thelma Burns McGuire Anderson.

On June 11, 2004, he married Ronda Jennings in Eureka Springs, Ark.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Doug McGuire and one sister, Aimee Jones.

Joey was a 1982 graduate of Camdenton High School. He worked for 20 years for Alvin Jackson as a car detailer before becoming self-employed for over 10 years. He enjoyed going to car shows, fishing and hunting. He loved to watch his kids play softball and baseball. He never missed a game and was their biggest fan. His most treasured memories were those spent with family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

He was a member of Faith Pentecostal Church.

Joey is survived by his wife Ronda of the home; children, Hannah, Quinton and Gracie McGuire, all of the home; parents, James McGuire of Camdenton and Thelma Anderson and husband Jim of Lebanon; brother, Todd McGuire of Camdenton; sister, Tammy Phelps; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Joey McGuire were held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2023, at Harvest Tabernacle Church with Pastor Brad Reed and Pastor Chris Thornton officiating. Burial was in Mount Rose Memorial Park. Visitation was at 5 p.m. Thursday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation or to the family for Joey’s children and may be dropped off or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, P.O. Box 948, 1001 Lynn Street, Lebanon, Mo. 65536.
