Johnny Ray Buntin, 84, of Buffalo, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021.
He was born Oct. 6, 1937, in Whitesville, Mo. to Raymond Buntin and Ermel (Goatcher) Buntin.
On June 3, 1960, he married Shirley Buntin.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; a brother, Donnie Burtin; a daughter, Deborah Harris; a grandson, Christopher Dye; and a granddaughter, Candie Dye.
Johnny spent his career working as a truck driver and then a dispatcher.
He was a member of Galmey Community Church.
Survivors include four children, Michael Dye and wife Sandra, Rick Dye and wife Nancy, Corrina Austin and husband Martin, Raymond Burtin and wife Kathy; 15 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Johnny Ray Buntin were held Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021, at Galmey Community Bible Church in Wheatland. Burial was in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, under the care and direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
