John Carl Wagner, 77, of Lebanon, was born Sept. 19, 1946, in Palace, Mo. to Homer and Angie Nichols Hildebrand and died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024, in Lebanon. He is survived by his wife Thelma of the home; children, Bruce Gotter and wife Victoria of Axel Texas, John Jr. and wife Angela of Stoutland, and Cary Wagner and wife Pam of Lebanon; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one brother, Harold Hildebrand and wife Roxanne of Plato. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Steve Jones officiating. Burial will be in Long Hollow Cemetery at a later date with military honors provided by the United States Army. Visitation will also be held at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, from noon until service time.
