Joel E. Barber celebrates Veterans Day

Posted
Joel E. Barber held its first Veterans Day Assembly in two years Thursday, thanking all who have served and fought for the freedoms we often take for granted. The assembly began with the pledge of allegiance and national anthem by the student body and Buckskin Choir, directed by Mrs. Michelle Reid. Dr. Rachelle Jennings, superintendent, then welcomed the crowd and introduced three fourth grade students who read Veterans Day poems as part of the program; Tripp Sutton, Kimberleigh Jones and Natalie Gregory.
