After an absence of several years, the band program is making a comeback at Joel E. Barber School.
The school district received some donations and a teacher is ready for class to begin.
Principal Amy Cogdill said the school had a band program years ago, but it was ended because of budget cuts. Students from the K-8 school were at a disadvantage when they graduated and began attending Lebanon High School, she said.
