The Joel E. Barber cafeteria was the site of the Laclede County C-5 School District’s work on its Continuous School Improvement Plan Monday.
The Joel E. Barber Board of Education held its meeting, which took place after a provided dinner, to review and continue its planning for the future framed by its CSIP. The evening included studying survey results and looking at potential district projects.
Before CSIP talk began in earnest, though, the school board approved Miller Excavating’s wastewater management bid for $79,850. There were two bids in total. Superintendent Dr. Rachelle Jennings later said the bid was to re-bed the district’s wastewater management plant.
The meeting then turned to a progress review of the district’s CSIP, which Jennings said had been ongoing for three years.
