Jewell E. Groves, 93, of Plato, died Monday, March 23, 2020, in Licking.
He was born Oct. 15, 1926, in Texas County, Mo. to Claude and Addie Cook Groves.
On June 7, 1946, he married Betty Jean Lewis.
He was a self-employed registered Angus cattle farmer.
Survivors include one son, Donald Groves of Plato; one daughter, Deborah McGuire (Jimmy) of Plato; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Jewell E. Groves will be held at a later date. Per his request, his body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Burial will be held at a later date at Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Sign guest book at www.shadelscolonialchapel.com.
