Jesse Lee Legan, 87, of Phillipsburg, died Monday, Sept. 14, 2020, at Webco Manor in Marshfield.
He was born Jan. 22, 1933, in Long Lane, Mo. to Walker and Bernice (Minnick) Legan.
On May 11, 1957, he married Colleen Day.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James, and sister, Clara Watson.
Jesse worked for the local phone company for over 30 years. He was a member of Warden Chapel Methodist Church since 1957.
He is survived by his wife Colleen of the home; children, Cathy Legan of Maryland; Greg Legan of Marshfield, and David Legan and his wife Ashley of Phillipsburg; grandson, Hunter Legan; brothers, Ralph Legan of Lebanon; Paul (MaryAnn) Legan of California; Harold (Phyliss) Legan of Marshfield; Darrell (Alice) Legan of Phillipsburg; sisters, Wilma Lewis of Lebanon and Carol (Lynn) Gjeide of Illinois; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Graveside services for Jesse Lee Legan will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2020, at Graham Cemetery at Conway. No formal visitation is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Graham Cemetery and left in care of the funeral home.
