Jerry Allen Chastain, 80, of Lebanon was born March 13, 1943, in Lebanon to Otis and Barbara Jones Chastain and died Wednesday, July 12, 2023, in Lebanon. He is survived by his wife Becky; two sons, Michael Chastain (Melissa) of Rogersville and Jeff Chastain (Cathy) of Nixa; a stepson, Lloyd Sanders of Springfield; stepdaughters, Laura DeLong (Kate) of Fayetteville, Ark. and a granddaughter raised in the home, Kaylan Sanders (Donovan Amlin) of Lebanon; a number of grandchildren; a brother, Jon Chastain (Becky); a sister, Joyce Schneider (Charles), all of Lebanon; a sister-in-law, Marietta Chastain of Lebanon; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Janice Mohn (Jerry), Barbara Lowrance, Marsha Green (Art), Pam Humphreys (Donnie), and Peggy Thompson (Eddie). No services are planned at this time. There is no scheduled burial. His body will be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
