Jeffrey Lee Poole, 61, of Lebanon, died Thursday, July 9, 2020, in Lebanon.

He was born Nov. 28, 1958, in Jefferson City, Mo. to Cromer and Edna Raithel Poole, who preceded him in death.

On July 26, 1996, he married Tracy Ruble.

He graduated from high school in Jefferson City. Following graduation, he entered the United States Navy, and served his country proudly on the USS Memphis, as a machinist and nuclear chemist from 1977 until his honorable discharge in 1983. He traveled the world and enjoyed visiting many countries. He later attended UMR in Rolla. He was employed as a factory machine operator in the Lebanon area for several years.

Jeff was saved at a young age and was a member of Eldridge Full Gospel Church, however recently he had been attending Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Tracy Poole; two daughters, Elizabeth Strohl and her husband Drew of Lebanon and Gabrielle Poole of Ozark; two sons, Daniel Poole and Justin Ruble and his wife Melissa, all of Lebanon; two sisters, Donna Scheidt and her husband Tony of Russellville, and Barb Poole of Denver, Colo.; six grandchildren, Emily, Natalie, Bentlee, Braxton, Louella and Leah Jo; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Betty Ruble, of Lebanon; brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry Ruble and his wife Wendy of Montreal; Teddy Ruble and his wife Vanessa Ruble of Lebanon, and Theresa Kinsley and her husband Harvey of Lebanon; other relatives and many dear friends.

A graveside service and burial for Jeffrey Lee Poole will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2020, at Crossroads Cemetery near Lebanon with Mike Allen officiating, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
