Janice Kay Jones, 51, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022, in Lebanon.

She was born Feb. 13, 1971, in Springfield, Mo. to Earnest and Dixie Vincent Shields.

On May 16, 1989, she was united in marriage with Randall Jones, and they shared 36 years together.

She was preceded in death by one son, Alexander Vincent.

After graduating from high school, Janice attended college for a period of time. Most recently, Janice worked as a clerk at Casey’s General Store. She enjoyed reading, especially Stephen King novels. She also enjoyed crime television and playing games on her phone. Most recently, she enjoyed time and laughter shared with her family.

She is survived by her husband Randall; three children, Adam Levi Jones and his wife Amber, Amanda McDonald and her husband Dustin and Andrew Jones, all of Lebanon; her parents, Earnest and Dixie Shields of Conway; siblings, Steve Shields and his wife Cherrie of Conway; John Shields and his wife Jerri Ann of Lebanon; Cindy Wilson and Clay Gregory of Amoret, Mo. and Rebecca Shields and Steve Thomas of Dogpatch, Ark.; six grandchildren, Kimberleigh Kay, Anthony Levi, Alyssa Ruth, Angelica Nichole, Lucas Christapher and Ellis James; other relatives and many friends.

There is no service planned at this time for Janice Kay Jones. At her request, her body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
