JAMES JUSTICE

James Justice, 77, of Richland, died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, in Richland.

He was born Dec. 20, 1944, in Camden County, Mo. to Pearl and Leona Hammers Justice, who preceded him in death.

James worked for the Camden County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy for quite some time. He was a driver for Ozark Fisheries and Circle F Farm, was owner/operator of his own dump truck business, and most recently drove a bus for the Richland School District. James was an avid horseman, and had trained, shown and judged horses all of his life. He passed this love of horses to his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed crappie fishing and hunting. His entertainment was teasing and aggravating family and friends. He loved his family most of all, and was very devoted to his kids and grandkids.

He professed Christ at an early age, and was a member of Beulah Baptist in Richland.

James is survived by his children, Troy Justice of Stoutland; Michael Justice and fiancé Leslie Mooney of Stoutland; Lisa Koehler and husband Scott of Kansas City, and Tracy Clay and husband Wendell of Richland; grandchildren: Cody, Ethan, Tyler, Thayer, Stephanie, Sam, Corey, Brittney, James, and Jacob. Great- grandchildren: Harper, Hadlee, Camden, Caleb, Katherine, Greyson, Jackson, Joshua, Ella, Carley, David, and Weston.

A memorial service for James Justice will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Rick Morrow and the Rev. David Mooney officiating. Burial will be at a later date under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. There is no visitation at this time.
