James Dale Ransome

James Dale Ransome, a veteran United States Marine, age 65, of Waynesville, died Friday, July 26, 2024, in his home in Waynesville.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Ransome of Crocker, three children, Amanda Tillett (Ronnie) of Cape Girardeau, Rachel DeLong (Devon) of Crocker, Roxanna Jones (Donald) of Crocker; son-in-law, Chris Raney of Manteca, Calif.; a sister, Anna Elam (Tony) of Swedeborg; ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at noon Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, in Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Waynesville.

Memorial contributions in memory of James Ransome may be left at the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Chapels & Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
