CPT (Ret) James Arthur Proctor, Jr., 66 of Waynesville, Mo., passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, in his home.
CPT (Ret) Proctor is survived by his wife: Clarissa Proctor of Waynesville, Mo.; his children: Kirsten Davis, Krystle Brown, and Michael Jonathan Pierce, along with his treasured grandchildren; three siblings: Thaydious Proctor of St. Robert, Mo., Venson Proctor (Terri) of Charlotte, N.C. and Wanida Vilar (Michael) of Orlando, Fla.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026, in the New Life Holiness Church, 13270 Heaven Lane, Dixon, Mo. Burial will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville, Mo.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026, in the New Life Holiness Church of Dixon, Mo.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of CPT (Ret) James Arthur Proctor, Jr. and may be left at the church on the day of the service.
