Airman First Class Jakob “Jake’’ Irvin Hisler, 20, of Mountain Grove, was born July 5, 2005, in Annapolis, Md. to Steven and Susan (Thompson) Hisler and died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at Moody AFB, Georgia.
He is survived by his father, Steven Hisler Sr. of Mountain Grove; his wife, Marissa (Prestage) Hisler of Mountain Grove; two brothers, Steve Hisler (Tiffany) of Baltimore, Md. and Zachary Freman (Kate) of Baltimore, Md.; a sister, Brittany Freman (Ron) of Ocean City, Md.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mountain Grove. Visitation was from 2-4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, in the funeral home.
A memorial has been established.
