Jacob William Key, 20, of Rolla, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2021, in Lebanon.
He was born March 13, 2001, in Columbia, Mo. to Nicholas Robert and Sarah Cathryn Henry Key.
Jacob graduated from Ava High School. He was currently a junior at Rolla S&T. He enjoyed kayaking, hunting and fishing (all the things he did with his best friend, granddad). He loved his family and friends deeply.
He was saved and baptized when he was in the second grade.
Jacob is survived by his parents, Nick and Sarah Key, and sisters, Grace and Elle Key of the home in Lebanon; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Pat Henry of Ava; paternal grandparents, David and Mary Key of Troy, Mo.; special friend, Carly Fox, also a student at Rolla S&T; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Jacob William Key will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at First Baptist Church in Lebanon with Pastors Oren Alcorn and Matt Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Ava City Cemetery following the Celebration of Life service. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
